Helping my juniors solidify their fundamentals to go on to play college golf

The ground this time of year can get to be firm and fast if we have not had rain and the Bermuda grass begins to go dormant. When you are around the green choose a less lofted club and bump and run your chips to avoid the dreaded chunk!  You will be surprised just how much closer you will be chipping the ball vs hitting high lofted sand Wedges. Get the ball on the ground as soon as you can and you’re going to chip better and maybe even chip in one of these times!
